Xolo Era 2 With VoLTE, Marshmallow Launched At Rs. 4,499

Xolo earlier announced that it will be launching a budget segment device and it kept its promise. After Xolo Era 1X, Xolo launched its another budget oriented device Xolo Era 2 the with 4G VoLTE support. This device will be exclusively available via flash sales on the e-Commerce site Snapdeal from 27 October, starting at 10 AM. Pre-registrations for the first flash sale are open till October 26. It also comes with Reliance Jio Welcome offer with unlimited 4G data and is priced at INR 4,499

Xolo Era 2 Specs

The Xolo Era 2 features a 5-inch IPS LCD HD (720p) resolution display. It runs on a 1.3 GHz quad-core chipset coupled with 1 GB of RAM. It comes with 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 32GB via micro-SD card.

Camera optics includes a 5 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 4P Largan lens, LED flash and big pixel technology (1.4 micron pixel) and a 5MP front facing camera with LED flash. The camera app comes with features like Live photos, Beauty mode, time lapse, slow motion etc.

On the connectivity front, the Xolo Era 2 comes with 4G VoLTE support, Dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. Interestingly both SIM slots on the Xolo Era 2 support 4G networks.


The phone is powered by a 2,350mAh battery and runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0. This device also has some extra features like Audio Note, Smart Screenshot, Smart Awake, and etc. It comes in Black, Nile Blue and Pyramid Gold colour options.

Pricing And Availability

The Xolo Era 2 will be available at Rs. 4,499 in Black, Nile Blue, and Pyramid Gold colour options. The phone will be available on Snapdeal exclusively starting October 27 at 10 AM. As mentioned earlier, you can pre-register for the first Xolo Era 2 flash sale up to October 26.

Being priced at Rs. 4,999, the Xolo Era 2 is a strong competition to other 4G phones like Intex Aqua Raze 2, Alcatel Pixi and LYF Wind 6. The price point, the features, and the free JIO offer makes this device worth for the people planning to get a new entry-level 4G device with a 4G network.
