Physical Overview
The Moto G Turbo Edition has nothing new to flaunt in terms of looks, it looks exactly like the earlier released Moto G3. It has the same matte-finish removable back cover with the camera unit t the very same place, that is center and the Motorola’s patent M logo is below it. The two Micro-SIM slots and the microSD slot are under the back cover.
The 5 inch screen size is very comfortable to hold and use with one hand and the finishing on the back makes it great to grip every time you hold it. The size and weight remains the same as the older version, while there are some changes under the hood to improve the durability.
It’s not possible to spot any physical difference when you hold both the phones side by side. But Motorola has added up to the durability by making it water and dust resistant. The new Moto G Turbo comes with IP67 certification, while Moto G (3rd gen) comes with IPX7 certification. Moto G Turbo can tackle both dust and water, but the Moto G 3 has only been tested for water resistance. If you want a rough and tough phone, the Moto G Turbo is a much better choice.

Gaming Performance
The phone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, out of which 11.8GB is available to the user. It also supports 32GB microSD card. If we have a look at the spec sheet, the Moto G Turbo looks decent enough to handle graphic dominant games and deliver good gaming experience. We were easily able to play games like Asphalt 8 and Dead Trigger 2 without facing frame drops or hiccups, but the device became a little warm when we played for a long time. But the heat was easily bearable and didn’t create any problem while gaming.

Day to Day Performance and Benchmark Scores
In our initial experience, this device delivers an impressive performance while navigating through the menu, launching multiple apps and switching between them. It offers commendable call quality and excellent signal reception and we did not encounter any issues while calling even when the signals were comparatively weak.

Verdict
We are happy with the performance that Moto G Turbo Ediition provided, the specs did not look very strong on paper but the actual usage cleared all our doubts. This device is a great improvement over the last one, but the the hardware configurations are not enough for Motorola to take them to the top of the list. We expected some changes in the design and feel, but Motorola didn’t took the looks in consideration at this moment. IP67 certification and the authentic Android experience remain the best reasons to choose Motorola, and introduction of turbo charging is also a great feature to add overall value to the handset. It is good for gamers and for aggressive users as the battery charges quickly, lasts long and the games run smooth; what else do we need?
