HP has launched the new HP Hotspot Laserjet Pro M1218nfs Multi Function Printer which can do print, fax, print via email [eprint ], wireless router, photo copy. The unique thing about this printer is that apart from printing and fax, it does offer you to create a wifi hotspot once you connect the output from the wired DSL modem to the printer. It allows maximum 8 devices to the printer which is acting as wireless router.
It does support Air Print for apple devices like iPad and iPhone, you can easily print from these devices without any additional configuration needed. It has one Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port, one 10/100Base-T Ethernet network port, RJ-11 Telephone port, Wireless 802.11b/g/n (with hotspot), HP wireless direct, HP ePrint and Apple AirPrint.
This printer supports A4 size paper by default, can print around 18 pages per minute max and the first page will come out in around 8.3 seconds and it comes at a price of around Rs. 18, 306 in any hp store across the country.
