Gionee GPad G1 with 1 Ghz Processor, 5 Inch Display At Rs. 10999 INR

Another phones joins the league of these Chinese phones waiving around 10,000 and Gionee has released their smartphone for the first time in India. The hardware specifications of this smartphone matches with the other smartphones but its battery is better than others but this does not justify that why this phone has been priced higher when it has got no reputation in the Indian phone market as of now, I think the only reason may be the extra accessories which this phone is offering to the users like a scratch guard, 8GB external memory card and the phone case. Many phones with the same spec like that of Byond, Lava and others are lying under 10k range.

Specifications and key Features

Phone has a dual core processor of 1 GHZ but it is accompanied by the sufficient amount of RAM which is 512MB and low as compared to the other phones (1 GB would have made this phone a good choice). The Graphics processor is powerVR SGX 531 GPU. Like others, it has got both 2G and 3G support along with WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. Its internal memory is of 4GB which is expandable upto 32GB.

The primary camera is 8MP and the secondary camera is a VGA camera, you can record HD videos with primary camera only. The screen size is 5 inches with WVGA display and it is LCD touchscreen. They also boast about the speakers with SRS TruMedia Acoustic Music. The phone operates on ICS v4.0 with the battery of 2100 mAh, the talktime and the standby hours are not specified by the official website but It will be sufficient for the users.

Users surely have lots of options now when it comes to an android with big screen on the range of 10,000 INR. This gadget is over priced little bit given that it is the first smartphone launched by this company but whenever you buy a phone you usually spend a good amount of money on their cases and screen guard and in most of the cases you do not get the appropriate cases and guards for these Chinese phones. My honest suggestion will be to look out for the best after sale service provided by these companies in your area and then choose the best as they will surely popup few problem once bought by you.
