Karbonn is in lots of new these days as around 28th January, Titanium S1 was released with some decent configuration at 10,990 INR to attack the phones within the price range of 10k. But now when Micromax Canvas HD, Wickedleak Wammy Titan 2, Gionee Dream D1 and similar others are offering better hardware configuration than Karbonn Titanium S1, so Karbonn did not take any chance and release another phone Karbonn Titanium S5 is this same sequence with a better camera, battery backup and screen size.

Keeping this factor in mind Karbonn took this step and now they have released their contender named Karbonn Titanium S5 with the difference of 1000 INR only but with 8MP primary camera and 2MP secondary camera (which was 5MP primary camera and VGA secondary camera in case of Titanium S1), 2000mAh battery (which was 1600 mAh in Titanium S1) and Screen Size of 5 inches (which was 4.5 inches in Titanium S1).
The battery was supposed to be increased due to the increase in screen size but everything with the extra payment of 1000 INR is really impressive. The ISP display with the resolution of 960×540 remains the same along with the 1.2 GHz Snapdragon Qualcomm Quad Core processor and the Operating system with Android Jellybean on it. Taking about the memory Titanium S5 carries the same RAM configuration of Titanium S1 of 1GB and the internal memory of 4GB which can be extended up to 32 GB with the help of external micro SD card. This phone is also Dual SIM supporting GSM bands in both the SIM slots but there is a twist that the first SIM1 slot will support 3G and 2G both but SIM2 will support 2G only.
