[Rumor] Micromax A120 with 5.5 Inch With 2 GHz Quad Core Processor

When I talk about the Chinese phones available in the market then I consider Micromax little better among them and keeping justifying this idea of mine, I would like to tell you that it seems Micromax wants to enter at the new level of competition which has been created by HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z. Now when there is already over booking of the canvas 2 and canvas HD in the market, Micromax is struggling hard to meet the demand and so we cannot expect them to release their phone just now (without even meeting the demand of their previous version of smartphones).

But the rumors say that the new phone by Micromax will be named as A120 and it will be also a powerful beast as Samsung Galaxy S4 is. Micromax A120 is believed to be powered by Quad Core processor with the architecture of Cortex A-7 in which the cores are clocked at 2GHz which is 1.9 GHz in case of Samsung Galaxy S4. The screen size will be of phablet which is 5.5 inches with the HD resolution of 1920 x 1080p which will also have multi-touch feature. The Internal storage capacity will be of 8GB and it could be extended up to 64 GB with the help of external memory slot support.

The battery of this phone is good which is 3000 mAh but not as great as Samsung galaxy Note 2 which has 3100mAh, but I suppose that with the better processor with Micromax A120 will be able to have a better standby and talk-time as compared to its contenders. The primary camera will be of same configuration which is available with all the contenders i.e. 13MP and the secondary camera will be of 3.2 MP. The phone will operate on Android 4.1.2 Jellybean but there is nothing available on its getting upgraded to the next version of Jellybeans.

If the rumors are true and if this phone lands into the market along with Samsung Galaxy S4 or 1 month after that then it carries enough capability to eat out a good amount of Indian market share of Samsung Galaxy S4. The phone is expected to be released in the months of June or July and it will be priced in the range of 17,000 INR to 20,000 INR.
