Videocon seems to be geared up to establish its brand now in mobile market now as this company already hold the brand-name in TV manufacturing in India. It has recently launched the two device Videocon A53 and Videocon A27 and now it is the third device coming with the name Videocon A47 which will be boosting companies protfolio. Videcon A47 is the company’s first quad core Android smartphone.

Recently we have seen the low cost Quad core device are flowing in the market and don’t known whether the companies are releasing this device with the inspiration from the success of Micromax A116 Canvas HD. We have seen many companies launching the quad core device this month including Zen Ultraphone 701 HD and spice’s recent launch Stellar Pinnacle Pro Mi-535, Acer Liquid E2 and many more. With the launch of A47, Videocon has also joined the list of manufacturers offering quad core enabled mobile phones and can be considered as another competitor for A116 mobile.

Videocon A47 share some common feature with Micromax A116 and sports the same chipset as Micromax Canvas HD A116 as well as the same 1.2 GHz quad core processor of MediaTek. Micromax A116 Canvas HD Mobile is provided with 5 inches screen size and display resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels where as Videocon A47 mobile is provided with 4.7 inches screen size and comes with display resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The Videocon is trying to provide the device for all range as it has launched Dual core device Videocon A53 and single core Videocon A27 and now launching the Quad core powered Videocon A47. The Specs looks good but we will be waiting for the price before commenting if the device is worth. But one thing is sure, as there are many quad core device flowing in the market with many common and similar specs, specially within the budget of range Rs.10,000 to Rs.15000, the device has to struggle to create its impact. The price of the phone has not been announced but it is likely to be priced below Rs 11,000 mark when it hits the market in next couple of days.
