Micromax Canvas 3D A115 Quick Review, Price and Comparison

After a grand success of Micromax A116 Canvas HD, The Indian Mobile manufacturer, Micromax has today announced the launch of another device in the canvas series and this time it is a 3D phone dubbed as Canvas-3D A115. This is the company’s first 3D phone and with the launch of this device, the India’s leading handset manufacture, Micromax has strengthen its Canvas series.

As the name suggest, the device seems to be the successor of Canvas A116 but the specification doesn’t reflect the same. Though both the device are featured with 5 inch display ,the most attracting part of Canvas A116 HD, it’s Quad-core processor, is not provided with the device and in turn this Canvas 3D A115 gets only the Double core processor.

Also the A115 HD was provided with an 8Mp camera with face beautifier, auto focus and a LED flash to take the low light photos but the 3D device of canvas series will come with 5MP camera. This two are the major difference we observed in A115 canvas 3D when considering it as the successor of Canvas A115 HD. Other few specs match in the device including the 2000mAH battery, 4GB internal memory with the microSD slot expandable up to 32 GB and dual sim slot to operate 2 sims.

LG was the company to launch the first 3D phone LG Optimus 3D and there after we have seen a few phone coming to the market including the Spice’s launch of View-D but this phone is really expected to make a boom in the market with it’s 3D feature. Few days back we have heard the company’s announcement of selling over 1 million units of Canvas Smartphone and now the launch of this device will be like a cherry on the cake for the company and now we can say that, building on the unprecedented success of Canvas 2 and Canvas HD, Micromax Canvas 3D will give its consumers a complete bouquet of options to choose from the series.

Coming to the detail specification of this device, the device comes with a 5” full touch screen and can display the content in 3D view. The interesting part about this latest offering from Micromax is it do not need the 3D Glasses to view its content in 3D, which will help the user to avoid the tension on carrying the glasses with them every time and will give them a hassle free life like experience. The device will be powered by a 1GHz dual core processor which will try to promise the user a superior quality graphics, multi-tasking and improved application performance. The RAM with which the device will be coming is not yet been revealed by the company but it is ensured that the device will be coming with MicroSD slot so that the user can expande the internal storage up to 32GB.

The device will operate on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) which is not the latest one but we are satisfied with it as we can have almost all the application and feature working for this version as well. The phone sports a 5.0MP rear camera with auto focus to further enhance the superiority of the memorable moments and features a 0.3MP front camera which will facilitate video chatting. The best thing about the camera is it can also convert the regular pictures into the 3D picture format.

This 3D enabled A115 will help users in faster browsing, downloading attachments and watching streaming videos with excellent 3D quality and can support the basic connectivity including Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi, ensuring full time connectivity for the social media buffs and comes with ‘Micromax 3D Space’ giving them access to 3D videos, and pre-loaded 3D games.
