Benq G1 comes with a fast f/1.8-4.9 lens and a swiveling rear LCD Screen. Its claimed as the world’s slimmest camera in its class, the BenQ G1 is built around a 14-megapixel sensor and a 24-110mm equivalent lens that features optical image stabilization and an ultra-bright f/1.8 maximum aperture at the wide end.
Design and Build Quality
In terms to design I would like to say it is the one of the best design in point and shoot as it really allows you to take some really nice angle photos with the tilting LCD which really makes things much easy for the end user to take some great shots with out much physical stress. The build quality is again quite good it does feel solid but on the other hand its quite light as well.
Ease of Use
BenQ G1’s 3-inch, standard 4:3 aspect ratio back plate display is the real jewel in its crown. Its swiveling rear LCD Screen really helps you take your own photos by tilting the LCD and you can take a photo of your own with camera lens facing you and you can also yourself in the LCD display.
Battery
BenQ G1 comes with a SLB10 lithium ion rechargeable battery, USB cable plus USB-equipped mains plug which means that there is no separate charger and the battery must be replenished within the camera itself. The USB cable arrangement means the camera’s battery can also be conveniently charged via your laptop or PC/Mac.
Freebies
One thing which I really like is the leather cover which comes with Benq G1 which is really something can be used a case as well as it gives the camera a real nice protection and its made up premium leather which really makes it looks much more elegant when you move it around.
Its in two parts, that means you can use the camera even one one of the part is applied on the camera and really makes it look really great. You will not feel the need to remove the other part of the camera as it really looks good and offer great protection with easy usage as well.

Conclusion
BenQ G1 due to the compact size, bright lens, and swivel screen, and seemingly high specification and manual controls is a great choice. It comes for a price of around 18k and this price point I would not say it is the best option but one of the best option depending on the user requirement. One thing which I did not like much is the slow focus speed in this camera and with low light it does a decent if not a very good job and again you have good focus assist lamp and powerful flash where ever needed.
