Nokia India Launched Asha 501 at Rs. 5199 INR – Live Photos, Review Video

Nokia india has finally announced the Nokia asha 501 as we reported, it is all new revamped new asha phone with 17 hours of battery life has microSD memory card slot which is hot swap supported. It has protective glass touch screen, supports dual SIM supported has 3.0-inch QVGA 320 x 240 pixels display, 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of internal memory with 4GB micro SD card provided in the box, Dual SIM(with one slot capable of hot swap), with 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and FM connectivity, Nokia Asha platform with Swipe UI and 17 hours of talktime and up to 48 hours of standby.

The new nokia asha 501 has new features such as fast lane, a revamped UI for the status bar at the top, fast switching of the default SIM is supported. Nokia have pre-installed their Xpress browser which is set to save data. You also have Xpress Now web app which uses your location to deliver news. It has 40 free EA Games from Nokia Store and will come in bright colours: Bright Red, Green, Cyan, Yellow, White and Black as well. Nokia Asha 501 comes with wifi and edge connectivity, both the single sim and dual sim variant will not support 3g but nokia has plans to come up with future models which will support 3g as well.

Nokia Asha 501 Price and Availability

Nokia has announced the dual sim variant of asha 501 for india and it will come in first week of June 2013 and the price will be around 6000 INR or $99 so it will be a very affordable phone with smart phone like capabilities.
