HTC has officially announced the release of HTC Desire 200. With a 3.5 inch screen and 1GHz processor, this phone is another addition to the already overcrowded budget phone market. There is no news of pricing and availability yet. Let’s take a look at what this phone has to offer.
HTC Desire 200 is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm snapdragon processor, which is at par with standard processor used in budget Smartphones. The processor is backed by a moderate 512 MB RAM and an internal storage of 4 GB which can be extended up to 32 GB using a microSD card. This device operates on Android Operating System. The Exact version of Android is not yet specified but is expected to be 4.0 or 4.1.
HTC Desire 200 has a 3.5 inch LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, which is average quality display.it has a 5 MP rear camera which is above average considering what other manufactures are providing in budget smart phones. The battery capacity of HTC Desire 200 is rated at 1230 mAh, which, with respect to a 3.5 inch screen size, will be sufficient to carry you through the day (with moderate use).
This device comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and much highlighted feature of Beats audio. HTC also claims that HTC Desire 200 features highest quality in ear headphones. HTC is counting on this feature to lure in music lovers. Other features include a 3G modem for HSDPA speeds of up to 7.2MBPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS/Agps. Its styling makes it stand apart from other budget Android phones and we are expecting it to be released at an attractive price.
