Popular domestic manufacturer, widely known for producing computer peripheral, has launched the iBall Slide 7334i tablet computer, which comes with a 7 inch screen & dual SIM functionality among a host of other features. The tablet is priced at 9,990 INR for the Indian market.
A very surprising feature on the tablet is availability of 3G network on both SIMs which we have hardly seen ever before. The tablet comes with a 1GHz dual core processor, which should be good enough for most casual users. There is 1GB of RAM to complement the processor, so users should be able to multitask in a very efficient way. Other connectivity features of the tablet include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio, USB.
iBall have also done well to include 16GB of on board storage, so people wouldn’t have to use a microSD all the time. The tablet will come bundled with Android v4.1 Jelly Bean, which, although is not the most recent version of Android, is still above the rest since quite a few domestic players are still shipping devices with Android v4.0.
As mentioned, the screen size is 7 inches. This 7 inch panel houses a display of 1280×600 pixels, which is pretty decent for the price. People can consider this tablet as an option against the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. On the camera front, the tablet comprises of 2 cameras; 2MP rear with LED flash for casual photography, and a VGA front for video calling. The tablet comes with an on-board mic so you don’t need an earpiece to be able to make and receive calls. The tablet packs a 3000mAh battery which should take you through about 4hrs of screen-on time.
