Users were very much excited about the new Octa Core Processor which they were supposed to see in the new Samsung Galaxy S4 but actually one the device was revealed then we came to know they are not the 8 cores on a processor rather they are the 2 sets of 4 core processor which will be switching themselves as per the load handled by the smartphone.
But it seems that the MediaTek fans have one more reason to be proud of as they Mediatek is coming up with their new Octa-Core Processor which will be actually having the 8-Cores on their processor and they all will be clocked at the frequency of 1.7 to 2.0 GHz. The model number of this processor is MTK6592 which is not the rumor as they have announced the same in Taiwan and we hope to see them soon in India.
They have already released the Turbo version of the Quad Core Processor quite recently and again the revelation of this new Octa-Core Processor is a huge achievement in itself. As of now most of the Chinese Mobile manufacturers are struggling to put the Turbo version on their chipset devices but now it seems that with these new High-Powered Octa Core Processors they will be able to launch some new flagship device with a great sing of performance.
This processor has been specially designed keeping in mind about the fluid operation of Android 5.0 and to add more I must tell you that this processor will be based on the architecture of Cortex A-7. As of now it has not been announced by MediaTek but Taiwan Media news has stated the same about it. Moreover it has also been mentioned that the mass production of this chip will take place in the month of November.
So by next year you can expect to see some of the flagship devices by Micromax, Karbonn, Lava, etc with this new powerful processor. With this new step I can also predict the competition which Intel processors will be facing in the smartphone market now. Stay Tuned to more about this new processor.
