This phone is quite similar in looks and body design to Galaxy S4 though its smaller. Galaxy Mini comes with a 4.3 Inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch display with a resolution of 540 X 960. This will give you a pixel density of 256 ppi (Galaxy S4 has 441 ppi display). This is still a good quality display though many smaller brands like Wammy Passion Z , Spice Pinnacle FHD mi-525, etc are offering Full HD display at a much lower price. The Super AMOLED screen will give you darker blacks, good contrast and vibrant colors.

This phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Dual core processor. Dual cores are not that exciting now because many manufacturers are offering Quad core even below 10k. However the clock frequency of 1.7 GHz is quite good and backed by a 1.5 GB RAM won’t give you any lag during moderate to high usage. This phone employs Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system and comes with 8 GB internal storage of which 5 GB will be available to users. This storage is further expandable to 64 GB using a MicroSD card.

As far as camera feature goes, this device has a 8MP primary camera with features like LED flash Panorama, HDR, Face detection and touch focus. It can record 1080p FHD videos at 30fps. Secondary camera is of 1.9 MP.

Connectivity Features include GPRS, EDGE, HSDA(42 Mbps), Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, infrared port and micro USB 2.0. It weighs 107 g and has a battery capacity of 1900 mAh which will give you a talk time of 12 hrs and a standby time of 300 hrs. SAR value is also quite low at 0.33w/kg.

This phone is now available for preorder on Flipkart at a price of 27,990 as an introductory offer you will have to pay zero processing fee for EMIs up to 6 Months
