Intex has launched its new flagship phone, Intex Aqua i7 as expected today in Mumbai in presence of their Brand Ambasdor , Farhan Akhtar. In the Press invite that we received last week, the phone promised to be the newest wonder in town, Has the phone lived up to our Expectations? Let’s find out.
Intex has decided to stick with the trusted 5 Inch display rather than to wonder in the phablet arena. The display resolution is 1080p Full HD and will give you excellent pixel density of 441 ppi. So as far as display is concerned it is really exciting! The display is also protected with corning gorilla glass and you will also get a free screen guard from Intex.
The phone also steps one step forward to provide us with the Turbo Quad core processor. Intex has once again lived up to the hype by providing with turbo MT6589T Quad core clocked at a frequency of 1.5 GHz. The RAM capacity is again pretty impressive at 2 GB. You will also get a Massive 32 GB internal storage and extra 5 GB on Cloud! The storage however is not expendable. The 32 GB will be sufficient for most users.
The camera specifications are also pretty good. This device features a 13 MP primary Auto focus camera with LED flash and a front camera of 5 MP. On the software front the phone sports Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system.
The battery capacity is 2000 mAh, although Intex claims that you will get 7 hrs of talk time from this battery. Full HD display might put some strain on this backup but nothing can be said for sure.Spice managed to squeeze in decent back up with a similar battery capacity on their FHD display device.
Intex has provided with a refreshing product which we have been craving for some time now. We have expected Micromax to provide these specifications including FHD Display and turbo Quad core for a long time now.
