Today Panasonic officially launched three smartphones in India, namely Panasonic P11, T21 and T11. The P11 and T11 are already available for purchase priced at Rs. 16,490 and 9,790 where as the new T21 has been priced in the middle at Rs. 13,990.
The Panasonic T21 operates on Android 4.2 and comes with 4.5 Inch IPS LCD display with 720p HD resolution. The processor powering this device is a 1.2 GHz Broadcom dual core processor which is a downgrade from quad core processor in the comparatively T11. The RAM capacity is 1 GB and the internal storage is 4 GB. This can be further extended to 32 GB using MicroSD support.
The primary camera of 8 MP is pretty standard at this price range. This Auto Focus camera is capable of Full HD 1080 p video recording and comes with LED flash for low light photography. A front camera of 2 MP is also present for video calling. The battery capacity of 1700 mAh is slightly less than what you conventionally get at this price range.
Panasonic T11 is the Quad core device under 10k, with Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at a frequency of 1.2 GHz. The 4 Inch display sports WVGA resolution and runs Android 4.1 Jelly bean on the software front.
The Primary camera is of 5 MP and a VGA front camera is also present for video calling. The RAM capacity is 1 GB and the internal storage is again 4 GB. Panasonic P11 has specifications to compete with budget quad core devices from domestic manufacturers in the price range of 10k to 15k INR. This phone is powered by Snapdragon 200 Quad core processor backed by 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage.
The 5 Inch display features 720p HD resolution. The primary camera is of 8 MP and the secondary camera is 2 MP similar to T21. All these phones are dual SIM phones and will provide good competition to budget quad core devices in the range 10,000 to 15,000 INR.
