Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 with Dual core Cortex A9 Processor Coming Soon

Samsung had announced that it will release two budget smartphone in Indian market soon, however a third mobile from Samsung, Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 (Quick Review),which was earlier announced in June, has been listed online on Homeshop18 and will be soon available by the end of October 2013. Earlier two budget android smartphone, unveiled recently were Samsung Galaxy Trend and Samsung Galaxy Star pro.

This phone comes with a similar display as Samsung Galaxy Trend and Samsung Galaxy Star Pro. The display has 480 X 800 Pixels (WVGA) Spread across 4 Inch screen. This will amount to 233 ppi which is average clarity display and should suffice for the intended purposes.

The processor has one added cores this time. This phone is powered by a 1 GHz Dual core cortex A9 processor which is supported by 1GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. Like the recently released HTC Desire 500 the storage in this phone too can be extended up to 64 GB using a MicroSD card.

This phone features a 5 MP camera at the back with LED flash for support during low lighting conditions. A fixed focus VGA camera is also present for video calling. The operating system is Android 4.2 Jelly bean which will deliver good android experience to first time users.


The battery capacity is 1500 mAh which is expected to give you a talk time of around 6 hrs on 3G. Connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with AGPS support and GLONASS.

This phone could be a good option for those planning on buying Samsung Galaxy Core as the processor has been upgraded to one with Cortex A9 architecture instead of Cortex A5 processor in Galaxy Core, which is very old technology now. The Display however is slightly smaller in Galaxy Ace (4.3 inch VS 4 Inch). Seeing the specs the pricing will be in the vicinity of 13,000 INR.
