Spice Mi-550 Pinnacle Stylus with 5.5 Inch Display and Quad Core at Rs. 15,499

Spice Mobile has launched another smartphone in the Pinnacle series, Spice Mi-550 Pinnacle Stylus, which is available on Spice’s own online retail store Saholic for Rs. 15,499. This phablet will have a 5.5 Inch display and as the name suggest will come with a stylus which rests in a slot present in the phone body.

This phone will be powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor whose make has not been specified. The RAM capacity will be 1 GB and the internal storage is 8 GB which can be further extended to 32 GB. The chipset specifications are similar to Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 Phablet, which has 16 GB of Internal storage which cannot be extended.

The Display is 5.5 Inches in size and the display type is TFT LCD. The display resolution is 1280 x 720 p HD which will give you 267 pixels per inches which is a fine clarity display. On the software front this phone employs Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system and is also equipped with gesture screen lock feature.

The primary Autofocus camera has a 8 MP sensor and is supported by Dual LED flash for low light photography. The camera is capable of full HD 1080p Video recording at 30 fps. A front camera of 2 MP is also present for Video calling.


The battery capacity is 2500 mAh which is apt considering the screen Size. Connectivity features include 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with AGPS support. This phone also supports Dual SIM.

The phone is only 9.5 mm thick and the weight has not been specified yet. This phone will compete against phones like Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 and Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8. This phone is available for purchase from Saholic, in black color at Rs. 15,499
