Few months back Huawei Ascend W1 and D2 got listed online and now four more devices have appeared on Huawei India Website. These phones include Huawei Ascend G700, G610, Y511 and Y320. The G series G700 and G610 sport quad core processor where as the Y511 and Y320 sport the 1.3 GHz Dual core processor which we have recently seen in many budget android phones.
Huawei Ascend G700, which was introduced at IFA 2013, sports a 5 Inch HD IPS LCD display with 294 ppi which is now a popular display configuration among popular budget quad core devices like Micromax Canvas 4. This phone is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad core processor backed by 2 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The Internal storage can be extended to 32 GB using MicroSD card.
The primary camera is of 8 MP and enjoys LED flash support for low light conditions. A Front camera of 1.3 MP is also present for video calling. This phone comes with a 2150 mAh battery and connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with A-GPS.
Huawei G610 comes with a smaller 4.5 Inch qHD display and is powered by similar 1.2 GHz quad core processor. The Primary camera has been downgraded to 5 MP and the front camera is of 0.3 MP. RAM capacity is 1 GB and internal storage is standard 4 GB which can be extended to 32 GB using a microSD card. The battery capacity remains same as G700 at 2150 mAh.
Huawei Y511 is again one step down the ladder. It is powered by 1.3 GHz dual core processor and sports a 4.5 inch qHD display. The Camera has been downgraded to 3.2 MP/ VGA combination and the RAM capacity is 512 MB. The battery capacity is 1730 mAh which is pretty good considering the other specifications.
Huawei Y320 features a smaller 4 Inch WVGA IPS display and is powered by 1.3 GHz dual core 4 processor. The ram capacity is 512 MB and the internal storage remains same at 4 GB. MicroSD support is also present for up to 32 GB. A single 2 MP fixed focus camera is present at the back and the battery capacity is only 1320 mAh.
All of these phones run on Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system and will feature 3G connectivity. All except the Y320 also enjoy Dual SIM functionality. We have been waiting for quite some time for Ascend P1, W1 and D2 to show up in India and now four more phones have been added to that list. Hopefully Huawei will soon launch these phones in India at competitive prices.
