Last night Apple unveiled its Mac Book pro which similar to the new iPad has gone thinner and lighter and has also gone less expensive, with slight compromise on SSD drive space. Good news is that both the 13 inch and 15 inch variant will now come with Retina display.
The Mac Book Pro is powered by dual core Intel fourth generation haswell processors with clock frequency starting at 2.4 GHz with turbo boost speed of 3.1 GHz. According to apple this will provide you with a performance boost of up to 90 percent .
The 13 inch model will give you up to 9 hours of battery backup whereas the 15 inch model will give you around 8 hours on single charge. 13 inch variant starts with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD storage. The 15 Inch model starts with quad core 2 GHz Core i7 processor backed by 8 GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage. Both will come with the latest OS X Mavericks and free iWork and iLife app suites.
Both of these Mac Books come with MacBook Pro comes with faster PCI Express solid-state drives which are fast and efficient, faster 802.11ac WiFi, dual Thunderbolt 2 ( Thunderbolt 2 ports deliver up to 20Gbps of bandwidth to each external device, allowing users to connect to multiple displays and high performance devices)and HDMI ports.
The Mac Book Pro 13 inch will start at 99,990 INR and goes up to 1,34,000 INR. The 15 inch Retina display Mac Book Pro is available for starting price of 1,49,900 INR and goes up to 1,99,900 INR.
