Gionee Gpad G3(Quick Review) was made available on online retailers last month and has now been officially launched in India at an MRP of Rs. 9,999. This Phablet will provide you with an extra large 5.5 Inch display for a price below Rs. 10,000 INR and this will be the USP of this Phablet.
The display resolution on this 5.5 inch display is FWVGA with 854 X 480 pixels. This will give you pixel density of 178.12, which won’t give you a very sharp display.
The processor employed is Mediate Quad core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. This processor is backed by 1 GB of RAM which is pretty good at this price range. the internal storage is 4 GB and can be further extended to 32 GB using MicroSD support. The chipset will be sufficient for basic operations and low end gaming.
The primary auto focus camera has a 5 MP sensor and a VGA camera is also present at the front for video calling. On the software front this phone comes with Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system.
The battery capacity is 2250 mAh which is not much considering the display size. Better throw in extra Rs. 1000 for a portable battery bank. The Connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio.
