After Canvas Fun series, another budget android phone from Micromax, Micromax Canvas Juice, got listed with a price tag of 7,999 INR. The Phone runs on same MT6572 dual core chipset, which is very popular among the new budget android phones ,but carries a lot of extra battery juice in its 3000 mAh battery, which Micromax Claims will give you 10 hours of talk time, something not so common in Budget android segment.
The phone will feature 5 inch display with FWVGA 854 x 480 pixel resolution apt for the price range. The display is similar to phones like Micromax Canvas 2 Plus, giving you 196 pixels per inches. On the software front this phone comes with Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system.
The phone is powered by MT6572 Dual core processor based on Cortex A7 architecture and assisted by Mali 400 GPU. Interesting thing is, this phone will offer you 1 GB of RAM instead of 512 MB which is common sight. The internal storage is 4 GB and can be extended to 32 GB using MicroSD card.
The primary camera is of 5 MP and comes with LED flash support for low light conditions. The VGA front camera is also there at the front, in case you are interested in video calling.
The Battery capacity of 3000 mAh doesn’t add to much weight, as this phone weighs a moderate 100.5 grams and is 10.2 mm thick. Micromax Canvas Juice supports Dual SIM connectivity along with 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with aGPS support.
The 1 GB extra RAM and a bigger battery is a much appreciated and refreshing change. These added hardware features will make Budget Android phones more meaningful.
