Korean giant Samsung today unveiled the second installation from of their Galaxy S Duos franchise, the Galaxy S Duos 2. The device comes with bumped up specs that include a dual core processor and Android v4.2 among others.
The full list of this new phone’s specifications include a 4 inch screen with a WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, a VGA front-facing camera. The phone will be powered by a dual core processor clocked 1.2GHz per core along with 768MB of RAM to support decent multitasking. The device will have 4GB of ROM on board along with a microSD slot for further expansion, up to 64GB.
Powered by a 1500mAh battery, the phone will run Android v4.2 out of the box. The company claims the 1500mAh battery can withstand 8 hours of talktime and 280 hours of standby on one single charge. Like all Duos series smartphones, this one too will have support for dual SIM.
Connectivity features include 3G, Bluetooth, AGPS, WiFi, 3.5mm jack, microUSB. The device can be bought from online resellers like Infibeam.
