Asus Transformer Book Trio with Windows 8 and Android 4.2 at Rs. 98,099

Apart from introducing much awaited Padfone Mini 4.3 in Taiwan, Asus today launched Transformer Book Trio in India for Rs. 98,099. This Transformer book allows you to conveniently switch between windows 8 and Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system.


You can use the Transformer Book as a Windows based laptop and you can detach the screen and use it as an Android tablet. Both the tablet and the keyboard parts have their separate batteries (19Wh and 33Wh) and can be used independently.

This hybrid device can last up to 13 hours on laptop mode and has 4 separate speakers to provide with clear audio. Internally the Transformer book has Intel fourth generation Haswell CPU for Windows 8 and an Intel Z2580 chipset clocked at 2GHz for Android.

After detaching the tablet the dock can be used as an external wireless keyboard with other monitors. The storage is also separate with 1 TB HDD in dock and 64 GB in the tablet.

The display size is 11.6 inch and the display resolution is full HD. The Tablet is supported by 2 GB RAM which will ensure smooth multitasking. The Auto focus camera at the back features a 5 MP sensor and is capable of Full HD 1090p video recording.
