Along with its curved display smartphone, LG also introduced 55 inch curved display OLED TV, named LG 55EA9800 curved TV in India today, priced at whooping Rs. 9, 99,999.

The 55 Inch OLED TV, which is the world’s first curved display TV (curved at 500 mm curvature )is only 4.3 mm thick. Instead of the standard RGB pixels, this TV will have 4 pixels, Red, Green, Blue and White (WRGB). The LG Clear speakers present in this TV promise to enhance your sound experience many folds by providing 40W audio quality at par with movie theaters.

The TV Remote is labeled “Magic Remote” and comes with features like Gesture control, pointing, Wheel, Voice and universal control. Apart from see through speakers, this 3D Smart TV has all features you expect from a high end TV including WiFi, picture in picture, second display, Triple XD engine, High dynamic contrast range, etc

This OLED TV will provide you with plasma like superior picture quality, with the downside being, that you can’t mount it on a wall (not considering the cost factor). The TV has all that you could want from a TV, but for now the curved display is more of a design factor which looks pretty good being only 4.3 mm thick.
