As we reported previously, XOLO’s first Tegra 4 powered tablet, i.e., the Tegra Note was launched moments earlier at an event held in New Delhi. The device comes with a 7 inch screen and according to XOLO, the tablet is ‘the world’s fastest 7 inch tablet’. Among other competitors from domestic manufacturers, the device will be competing with Google’s Nexus 7 in the country.
Full specifications of the tablet include a quad-core 1.8GHz Tegra 4 processor that comes from none other than NVIDIA and a 7 inch panel that packs a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The imaging department is handled by a 5MP rear camera that works in conjunction with a 0.3MP shooter at the front. Complementing the 1.8GHz quad core processor is 1GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM.
Unlike other devices in its category, the XOLO Play Tegra Note will come with a stylus, dubbed ‘Nvidia DirectStylus’. It also packs ‘Nvidia PureAudio’, which according to XOLO is a technology that provides for an unparalleled audio experience. Adding to the multimedia functions of the tablet is a micro HDMI port which will enable you to mirror the tablet’s content on to a large screen TV.
