Update: 31 -1-2014 The teaser pointing to August launch has been deleted from YouTube and we have now replaced it with official Lava Iris Pro video.
Lava initially teased it Iris Pro series way back in august but somehow the launch was delayed. Lava is now back with a bang and will unveil its new flagship Iris Pro series smartphones to tackle the heating domestic competition.
The new Iris Pro series smartphones promise to put “The Art in Smart” and will reportedly feature components from Global big guns like Sharp and corning. Much information has not been unveiled by Lava as of now, but lava has revealed that the first one in its premium series will weigh only 114 grams and will be the lightest phone with 4.7 inch display!
The full laminated Display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and built by reputed Sharp Display technologies. The phones will also have CABC App for automatic brightness control according to what you are viewing on the display.
The new Sharp displays might be IGZO displays, similar to what we saw in Gionee Elife E7 and something Apple is rumored to use for iPhone 6. Such Displays are more responsive and highly power efficient.
Gone are the days when domestic brands were touted as cheap Samsung Knock offs. The low cost Smartphones are also trying to differentiate themselves in the build quality and looks department to stand their ground in the competitive market. This is what we expect from the upcoming Lava Iris pro series on 17th January. Stay Tuned!!
