Domestic Manufacturer, Zync has launched a low cost 6.5 Inch phablet, Zync Z605 in India for Rs. 7,999. Apart from the large display, the tablet will also provide with 3G connectivity. Apart from this the rest of the features are pretty uninteresting.
The 6.5 inch display will sport only 800 X 480 pixel (WVGA) resolution which shoots down pixel density to a dismal 143 pixels pre inches. The Processor employed is a dual Core processor backed by 512 MB RAM, but company has not stated details about the chipset including clock frequency, manufacturer and Architecture.
The inbuilt storage is 4 GB and can be extended to 32 GB using MicroSD support. The primary camera has a 2 MP sensor and at the front, you will get a VGA camera for video calling. on the software front, you will get Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system.
The Battery capacity is 2500 mAh which will only give you 6 hours of talk time on 2G and 3.5 hours on 3G. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G. The Phablet weighs 250 grams comes with some pre-loaded apps like Facebook, Twitter, Viber and WhatsApp.
You can go for Zync Z605, only if a extra large display is on top of your list and you have a tight budget. in all other cases, there are better options available from other domestic manufacturers.
