Dell Venue 8 Pro and Dell Venue 11 Pro with Windows 8.1 starting from Rs. 26,499

Along with Android based Dell Venue 7 and Dell Venue 8 tablets launched yesterday, Dell also introduced Windows 8.1 OS based Venue 8 Pro and Venue 11 pro in India starting from Rs. 26, 499 for Venue 8 Pro, where as price for Venue 11 has not been announced yet.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro houses an 8 inch 1280×800 pixel HD IPS display in its 9 inch thick body panel weighing 395 grams. The tablet will be powered by Intel Atom Quad core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz. The RAM capacity is 2 GB and internal storage is 32 GB. MicroSD support is also present.

A 5 MP camera is present at the back and the front camera has a 1.2 MP sensor. The battery life is 9.9 hours which is above average. MS Office home/student edition also comes pre-installed on this tablet. The tablet will be available in Red and Black color starting from 26,000 INR.

The Dell Venue 11 Pro sports a 10.8 inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080p full HD resolution. The Venue 11 Pro is powered by 2.4 GHz quad core Intel Atom processor. Dell will launch 64 GB and 128 GB storage variants in India. Apart from a 2 MP webcam at the front, there is an 8 MP camera at the back. A 2 GB RAM is also present on the chipset.

Battery backup will be in the range of 8 to 10 hours. Connectivity features include USB 3.0, Mini HDMI, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. You can also buy Stylus separately for both of these tablets.  Dell will also offer keyboard case for Venue 8 pro and attachable keyboard for Venue 11 pro with additional battery.
