If Samsung Galaxy Note 3 seemed too expensive to you, Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo for India priced at Rs. 40,900. The Note 3 Neo supports all the fancy S-Pen features that were introduced in Note 3 along with the faux leather back cover.

The Super AMOLED display size has been marginally reduced to 5.5 inches and the display resolution has been trimmed down to 720p HD shooting down the pixel density to 267 ppi from 386 ppi in Note 3.

The processor employed is Exynos 5260 which houses Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex A7 coupled with dual-core 1.7 GHz Cortex A15 processor. The RAM capacity is ample 2 GB and you will get 16 GB onboard storage, expandable to 64 GB using MicroSD support. The 3G only variant will feature 1.6 GHz Quad core processor.

The rear camera has an 8 MP BSI sensor and is capable of Full HD recording. Front 2 MP sensor is also present for video recording. The phone will run on Android 4.3 jelly bean operating system with TouchWiz UI out of the box.

The battery capacity is 3100 mAh and connectivity features include HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS. The price difference as of now makes Note 3 a better option. The price gap will gradually widen over the coming weeks, thus making Note 3 Neo a low cost viable option over Note 3.
