MWC 2014: Huawei Talkband B1 a Smartwatch with Calling and Fitness Tracking

Smart wearable are the future gadgets and it seems that many other companies have also started taking it seriously and so Huawei has also joined the league for the smart-watch. The device has been named as Talkband B1 and it is mostly like a band and not dial a usual wrist watch with a square or a round dial. The thickness of this watch can make you ask question (which is 14.1 mm), the band is thick to adjust an earpiece which can be used for calling.

Your band will connect itself with your android device and then you will be able to take the call. The android version supported by this band will be Android 2.3 or more. Bluetooth will be used to connect this device with the smartphone in order to attend calls while you are jogging. This is somewhat we saw in few of the devices revealed by HP few months back.

The battery available with this device is 90 mAh which promises the non-stop calling of 7 hours and if calls are not attended then it will have to be charged once in a week. Like any other smart wearable gadget, it will also tell you the fitness statistics during your morning jogs. This device has been revealed recently so there is not information about the sales of this device.

Our favorite part was its USB charging, you will not need another cable to charge this device. The band already has a USB point which can be plugged in directly in any USB charging point. Stay tuned as we will let you know as soon as this device gets launched in India. More devices coming up from at MWC 2014 so stay tuned.
