MWC 2014: HTC Desire 610 with 4.7 Inch Display and Quad Core Announced

HTC has announced two smartphones at MWC 2014. The HTC Desire 610 comes in a more pocketable form factor with 4.7 inch display and a quad core processor. The mid range smartphone posses a very standard spec sheet.

The 4.7 inch display feature qHD resolution. The chipset is 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. The storage can be augmented using microSD support.

The Software is Android jelly bean with sense UI on top. The rear camera has an 8 MP sensor and is supported by LED flash. The front 1.3 MP camera can be used for video calling. The phone also features, Dual Frontal stereo speakers with HTC Boom sound.

The battery capacity is 2040 mAh and other connectivity features include 3G, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, GPS with a-GPS. HTC Desire 610 will be available in red, blue green and black colors starting in May.
