Looks like Panasonic won’t restrict itself to feature phones as it did in its operating base Japan. Panasonic has teased its next smartphone, P31 which is due for arrival at March 2014. Panasonic has not yet unveiled any specification, but folks at AndroidOS spotted a promotional video which has now been removed.

The P31 will feature a 5 inch display with FWVGA resolution. The processor will be MT6582 which houses 4 CPU cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. The chipset is now seen all around in budget quad core segment, threatened by Moto G.

Panasonic is pre-loading apps from Evernote, India Today, Hungama and ReadWhere on the P31, which will come with free content worth INR 10,399. The imaging hardware includes 8 MP shooter at the back and a front camera for video calling. Panasonic P31 will also feature 3G, WiFi and GPS connectivity.

Teaser also points towards an imaging hardware that will make your life easier. If Panasonic has equipped the 8 MP shooter with good shutter speed that would be much appreciated.
