Micromax teased its octa core phone on its YouTube channel recently and now the company has confirmed the Canvas Knight will officially launch in India in the next two days, which implies 5th March 2014. Canvas Knight packs power hardware in only 7.3 mm thick cavity.
Micromax Canvas Knight might very well be the first 2 GHz octa core handset to arrive in India. The powerful MT6592 chipset will be paired with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage.
The 5 inch display will feature 1080p Full HD resolution and the imaging hardware includes a 16 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front shooter. The rumored battery capacity is 2350 mAh which seems average. As you can see in the leaked image above, the shipment reached India on 26th February.
We spotted the smartphone on Antutu with Benchmark scores of 26,886 hinting towards a 1.7 GHz Octa core chipset. We are guessing, Micromax might launch both variants of this phone in India. We will know for sure in the next two days! The price is expected to be in the range of 23,000 INR to 25,000 INR
