Nokia X was recently listed and removed from The Mobile Store, but is now listed on saholic for Rs. 8,500. The phone has been priced at Rs. 8,499, similar to last listing. Nokia has also started rolling out press invites for a March 10 event where it will officialy unveil the MRP price of Nokia X.

Nokia X bases on Android 4.1 Jelly bean AOSP and sports entry level hardware with 1 GHz dual core snapdragon processor which backed by 512 MB RAM and internal storage extendable to 32 GB.

The phone is much awaited in emerging markets like India where it is being marketed as Nokia’s first Android phone. Nokia has dominated the budget feature phone market for long time and this phone will help it gain some market share between Lumia and Asha series. Nokia’s Android phone will however replace Google Playstore services for Microsoft services. Microsoft is also offering 1 month Skype subscription and 10 GB of OneDrive cloud storage with this smartphone. Of course you can sideload Google Playstore Apps and about 75 percent of Android apps will work on Nokia X. Most popular app are already available in Nokia store.
