Panasonic P31 with Quad core finally launched for Rs. 11,990

Panasonic has officially launched the P31 smartphone that it has been teasing for more then a week now. The budget quad core device is powered by a quad core chipset and packs several software features to entice customers.

The 5 Inch display sports FWVGA 854 x 480 pixel resolution (196 ppi) and has Ultra Oleophobic coating which makes it Smudge free. The Dual SIM phone runs on Android 4.2.2 jelly bean operating system.

The 1.3 GHz quad core chipset is backed by 1GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. The storage is further extendable to 32 GB using MicroSD card. on the imaging front Panasonic is providing with 8 MP camera at the back and a VGA front camera for basic video calling.

The battery capacity is 2000 mAh and connectivity features include HSPA+ 21Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and AGPS.

Software enhancements which Panasonic is highlighting in P31 include Gesture Play, which lets you unlock the phone by drawing a pattern, Pop-i Player, Music cafe and Ultimate Saver. Ultimate Saver is a battery saving mode which you can use to increase the battery endurance in crisis situation.
