Nokia X has been a much awaited smartphone and Nokia is hoping to gather huge market share with this new budget range smartphone. We got to spend some time with the device at the launch event yesterday and if you are planning to buy this phone, get your self acquainted with the camera module.
The imaging hardware is nothing to write home about. The rudimentary imaging hardware includes a 3 MP shooter at the back without LED flash support.
As you can see the image quality is average and pictures are grainy even with minimum zoom. Color and details are not very good either. We didn’t expect much from Nokia X in the imaging department because of the modest hardware. Front camera is also missing, but we doubt that it will be missed much.
Apart from the basic camera, the hardware includes 1 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB storage and a 1500 mAh battery. The display is 4 inches in size has has 480 x800 pixel resolution. The rear camera can record 420p videos at 30fps.
