Nokia announced three new Lumia series phones running the latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS at Build conference which is also presently going on in India. These includes budget Lumia devices Nokia Lumia 630 and 635 along with high end Nokia Lumia 930.
The Nokia Lumia 930 is the new flagship phone from Nokia and comes with a Qualcomm powered Snapdragon 800 SoC with 2.2 GHz quad core CPU and 2 GB RAM. Internal memory is 32 GB and is non expandable.
Nokia is using a ClearBlack AMOLED display here which is 5 inches in size and bears 1080p Full HD resolution amounting to 441 pixels per inches. We don’t know if Nokia is also using Assertive Display technology in this one similar to Nokia Lumia 1520 for unmatched outdoor visibility.
The camera used is a 20 MP PureView camera with 1/ 2.5 Inch BSI sensor , F/2.4 wide aperture, Optical image stabilization and Dual LED flash. Like Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1020, you can get high quality down sampled 5 MP images for easy sharing. Of course, Nokia has provided with its wide gamut of camera software features including Nokia Camera, Creative Studio, Cinemagraph, etc. in this phone as well.
Inside the 137 x 71 x 9.8mm body casing you will get a 2420 mAh battery which supports Qi wireless charging. With the enhanced software, Lumia 930 will host features like Cortana Voice Assistnat, Action Center, Universal Apps and much more, which will eventually transfer to its other Lumia siblings in the next few months.
Phone will be available in several bright colors including white, black, orange, green and yellow for around $599 before taxes and subsidies.
