Samsung seems to have released the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 that was launched in 2013 in India without much fanfare. Well, the tablet has been listed on the company’s official e-store carrying a price tag of Rs 36,340. But, the device is currently out of stock and the listing as a ‘Notify Me’ option for the consumers who are interested in buying it.
As the name indicates, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 features a 10.1 inch display boasting a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels that translates to a very low pixel density of 149 pixels per inch. Fueled by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the tablet is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Clover Trail+ Z2560 processor that is coupled with 1 GB of RAM.
On the optics front, the new Samsung tablet includes a basic 3 MP primary camera at its back with a 1.3 MP front-facing snapper for making video calls. The device comes in two options – 16 GB and 32 GB of internal storage capacity that can be further expanded up to 64 GB using a micro SD card. However, the 16 GB variant is listed in India currently.
For connectivity, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 packs Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G for making voice calls, Wi-Fi Direct and GPS. Also, there is a 6,800 mAh battery claimed to deliver up to 8 hours of backup that should be sufficient for users to browse the net, play games or listen to music on the go.
