Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 which was launched a couple of days back is now available for purchase on online retailer snapdeal for 8,675 INR, even before its official availability date of 25th April. The latest entrant in Doodle series from Domestic manufacturer Micromax poses a large 6 inch phablet display along with other basic dual core specifications.
The standout feature is the 6 inch mammoth display which comes with FWVGA resolution (854 x 480) amounting to 163 pixels per inches. On the software front, you will get Android 4.2 jelly bean, for optimum android experience.
The processor used is familiar MT6572 Dual core chipset with both cortex A7 based cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. The processor is coupled with humble 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage which can be further extended to 32 GB using microSD support.
The basic imaging hardware includes 5 MP rear shooter coupled with VGA front camera for basic video recording. The rear camera can record 720p HD videos and enjoys LED flash support for basic video calling. The signature capacitive Stylus of Doodle series is also missing from this smartphone.
At the heart of the device, 2500 mAh battery is powering the internals. Micromax claims 260 hours of standby time and 9 hours of talk time from this device. We are not sure how long this will last while web browsing or playing videos.
