Two of iBall’s budget smartphones which went on sale last month have now been launched officially by the company. The electronics giant has got itself a name for manufacturing budget devices in the field of personal computing and smartphone. The two smartphones were are talking about are the iBall Andi 3.5Kke Winner and Andi 3.5Kke Genius. They have been launched for Rs 3,499 and Rs 3,999 respectively and the differentiating factor between the two is 3G connectivity.
The smartphones have the exact same specifications and there are no visual differences. The iBall offerings come with a 3.5 inch display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. Ticking inside both of them is a 1.3 GHz dual core processor from the stable of Mediatek. They run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and seeing the fact that they don’t cost much, the specifications surely look good for the price. The RAM stands at 256MB. The internal storage capacity on offer is 2 GB which can further be expanded by another 32GB with the help of a microSD card.
At the back of both the devices is a 3.2 MP camera with a LED flash coupled with a VGA camera up front. The Andi Kke Genius comes with 3G HSPA+ whereas the Andi 3.5 Kke Winner comes without it. It gets the usual connectivity of 2G instead of that. Other connectivity features which remain common to both of them are WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS with aGPS. Wine, Black and White are the colour options available. The budget devices come with a signature of Kareena Kapoor at the back. The battery at their heart is a 1,250 mAh unit.
