LG Uni8 Windows Phone Leaks Before Launch

LG was one of the original Windows Phone partners but it soon lost interest and with the company becoming Google’s partner to manufacture Nexus devices, its plans for Windows Phone devices were surely shelved for a while. But LG has not completely shunned away the plans of launching a Windows Phone smartphone and is working on a top of the line smartphone these days which will be based on Windows Phone 8.1.

LG Uni 8

An image of the same has leaked and it won’t be long before we see the device getting a launch as the leaked image looks more like a press shot. The smartphone will come with the moniker Uni8 and no other information about it is known. The only bit of information known about it is that it will come with on-screen buttons and there will be no hardware camera button on it. The smartphone will feature ultra think bezels as can be seen from the image and might share its hardware with the upcoming LG flagship, LG G3.

It can be expected to come with a Snapdragon 800/801 ticking inside it and the screen might be a 1080p unit. These seem to be the safest bets regarding the device as these can be figured out from the leaked image. For the time being, LG is busy readying up the G3 for a launch on the 27th of May and the Windows Phone sibling will follow it soon after that.
