Intex Aqua N4 with Quad Core CPU Launched for 6,310 INR

This week, indigenous smartphone vendor Intex has been in the headlines as the firm sent out invites for the launch event of Aqua i5 HD. Now, the firm has quietly announced the launch of yet another phone dubbed Intex Aqua N4 bearing a price tag of Rs 6,130. This is an entry-level dual SIM smartphone that was spotted on the company website couple of weeks back.

Detailing on the specifications, the Intex Aqua N4 features a 4 inch display with WGA resolution of 480×800 pixels and incorporates a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 chipset ticking at 1.2 GHz. There is a mere 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded further by up to 32 GB.

Fueled by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, the handset comes with a 5 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front-facer to assist in video chatting sessions. Users can stay connected on the go with connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and GPS with aGPS. The handset has a 1,400 mAh battery that can deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time.

With the launch of the Aqua N4, an entry-level quad-core smartphone for Rs 6,310, it is sure that the newly launched Moto E will find a tough competition. The launch of the Motorola offering has forced the native vendors to announce competitive phones at low price ranges.
