Build Quality, Design and Form Factor
Moto X is good in terms of build even when it’s a plastic but really good quality of material are being used, you have a matte finish texture back which makes it looks great from the back side with a dimple which hold the Motorola logo. The back cover of the phone is cannot be removed and battery cannot come out. It feels slightly heavy at 130 grams but on the other hand feels solid as well, it can easily survive couple of drops and the front glass also has corning gorilla glass coating which add further layer of protection from scratches and breakage. It has a curved back with matte finish which makes it easy to hold and thickness of the device is around 10.4 mm but it does not feel very thick due to curved design. Its portable due to small size and one handed usage is almost perfect on this phone.
Camera Performance
The rear camera is 10MP however it takes decent if not great shots, it has tap to take a photo and auto focus works well. Daylight performance of the camera is good and low is decent enough but not great in anyway. Front camera is 2MP but can record videos at 1080p , its pretty good camera to take selfie and for video chat or call. You can also quick launch camera on this device with a hand twist hold the device in hand so that you don’t miss a moment to capture.

Display, Memory and Battery Backup
Display wise this device is quite impressive in this price category as it gives you a great display with almost perfect viewing angles and its 720p so text and graphics feels sharp and clear and color reproduction adds to it. It has 16Gb in built which may seem good enough but user available is around 10GB out of it and it does not have SD card slot which makes things difficult in future as soon as you load more stuff, apps etc but OTG feature is supported so even if you don’t have storage space you can watch a movie from the flash drive. With the current battery you get with this phone you can use it for one day at a stretch and sometimes even more than one day as well, but for heavy users who play HD games and watch videos more this will give you around 8-10 hours of backup.
Software, Benchmarks and Gaming
Software part is the most impressive thing about Moto X as it provides almost pure android experience with minimal apps from motorola like motorola assist, motorola connect service and privacy ID. It also gives you pure google now experience as well as you can wake up the phone by just saying ok google voice command and also do other interesting things with google now cards, but for this you first need to train it as per your voice a bit. The gaming performance of this device is smooth and you can play any HD games on this device provided you have minimum storage space to install and run it.

Sound, Video and Navigation
Loudspeaker is placed on the rear on the side of the rear camera and it doe snot get block when you place it on a table so the sound does not get blocked but does get muffled. Volume is not too loud but decent in terms of loudness for person to hear. It can play videos at 720p or 1080p HD videos without any issues. You can use this device for GPS navigation and it does have the magnetic field sensor.

Conclusion and Price
Moto X is available in for a price of starting price of Rs. 23,999 and its available in different colors and wooden back design model. It has one of the best android experience you can get from an android smartphone without any bloat ware disturbing you. It does offer great noise cancellation, auto focus and picture capture in video mode and you can also record slow motion video, but the actual camera picture quality in photos is not that great but its decent when compared to other phones.
