Apple has finally made iPhone 5c 8 GB in India for a price of Rs. 37, 500. The pricing seems ridiculously high as iPhone 5c 16 GB (Full Review) is selling for as low as 34,500 in India. Apple is also offering 3,000 INR introductory discount and a free iPhone 5c case worth Rs. 2,300, to justify the price.

In coming weeks we can expect the price to fall and settle somewhere in the vicinity of 30,000 INR. Selling old iPhones at subsidized price has worked well for Apple so far and iPhone 5c 8GB will sooner or later fulfill its role as a cheaper iPhone as it was initially expected to be.

iPhone 5c is a very good quality poly-carbonate iPhone with guts of iPhone 5 inside. The phone is quite snappy and handles iOS 7 quite well. The phone sports a 4 Inch Retina display and dual core 1.3 GHz Swift processor housed in Apple A6 chipset.
