On its recent KitKat launch spree, Micromax has launched three latest Android 4.4 KitKat based smartphones – Unite 2, Canvas Engage and Canvas 105, with 4.7 inch, 4 inch and 5 inch display respectively. Looks like Micromax will soon launch a 4.5 inch display device, Micromax AE90 which has already reached Indian shores.
The new Micromax mobiles will Dual SIM functionality with CDMA and GSM SIM card support. All thanks to Motorola Moto E, there are more Android KitKat’s popping up for less than 10,000 INR price range and new phones with anything lesser will put themselves at a disadvantage.
Judging by the unit price of the smartphone, we can expect this phone to be priced for around 7,000 INR or lesser, and since Micromax is flooding quad core chipsets in this price range, this won’t be an exception.
Micromax has already imported 5,000 Units of AE90 in India. With the coming time, competition will only increase in budget Android segment and consumers will benefit from it. Micromax is playing its card right to not only survive but ride the smartphone wave in India.
