The specifications are quite impressive and this is the first time that we are hearing Snapdragon 800 powered Micromax device, but it’s about time. However, it’s still unusual that Micromax will offer Snapdragon 800 on Windows Phone first rather than Android.
Microsoft displayed Windows Phone 8.1 running prototype of Micromax device at the launch event of Windows Phone 8.1 and it was expected that Micromax will soon launch an impressive Windows Phone 8.1 device soon. The leak however, if true, will be pleasantly surprising.
Microsoft has made Windows Phone 8.1 free for devices with less than 9 inches of display real estate. This move is meant to allure manufacturers to launch more Windows Phone 8.1 devices as it won’t cost them a dime. We expect many other domestic manufactures to follow suit.
