The sources also reveal that this new phone will be powered by Qualcomm MSM8212 Snapdragon 200 processor with Cortex A7 processor. This only makes sense because Xolo is also expected to follow the Qualcomm reference design, Introduced recently at Build conference, which was implemented by Micromax for its Canvas Win smartphones in order to save engineering cost.

Qualcomm Reference Design was a brilliant move from Microsoft, and helps manufacturers to launch smartphones in only 60 days. The RAM capacity and Internal storage is expected to be 1 GB and 8 GB respectively. Other rumors suggest a 4.7 inch display, which hits the sweet spot between 5 inch and 4.5 Inch, and a 12,000 INR price tag.

As of now, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is the lightest one weighing only 107 grams, but it has a considerably smaller 4.3 inch display. The 4.7 inch Lava Iris Pro 30 which was appreciated for its light weight and sleek demeanor weighed 114 grams.

Xolo has been doing justice to its tag line of reaching the next level by introducing phones with all kind of SoCs at competitive price. We have a pretty good idea of what Chipset Xolo might use in its Windows Phone but will it compromise on battery backup and capacity to win the slimmest tag?
