Xiaomi Inks Deal with Flipkart to Announce Two Smartphones in India Next Month

Earlier this month, it was reported that the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi will be releasing its smartphones in India sometime soon. Now, a BGR India report claims that the vendor is planning to launch two of its smartphones in the country in mid-July and early August.

Xiaomi tied up with the online retailer Flipkart to exclusively sell its offerings in the country. While Motorola handsets are also available exclusively via the same retailer the difference is that the Motorola smartphones are imported to India by Flipkart, whereas Xiaomi India will take charge of the importing task and Flipkart has to just retail them, claims the report.
