The device boasts a 10.1 inch Triluminous display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 carrying a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. Powering the device is a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset that is supplemented with Adreno 330 GPU and 3 GB of RAM for multi-tasking.

Fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat OS, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet packs an 8 MP Exmor R primary camera that is accompanied with a 2.2 MP front-facer for making video calls. Both these camera units are capable of capturing FHD 1080p videos with high details. Furthermore, there is 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64 GB with the help of a micro SD card.
